Employee Engagement is high at three of the UK’s Top Track 250 list all based in the North East, and home to employee engagement software People Gauge. The three companies all use People Gauge, and have a dedicated employee engagement programme in place. Government statistics confirm that companies with high levels of employee engagement have higher rates of productivity which of course directly relates to sales. Esh Group, Parkdean and Barbour combined employ more than 6000 between them and have collectively increased combined sales to 36% last year – it’s no surprise to us at People Gauge as during the last year all three organisations put Employee Engagement at the heart of their strategy.
These North East firms feature on the Top Track 250 alongside the likes of household names such as Chelsea Football Club, Travelodge, Caffe Nero and Nando’s. It’s a National league table which has been produced for 11 years running.
“I was delighted to see how well Esh Group, Parkdean and Barbour did in the Top Track 250″ says Maggie Pavlou, Founder of People Gauge. For me it is further evidence that any organisation that has engaging with their people high on their agenda, comes out shining! The great thing for us is that we can see the difference companies get from going through the People Gauge cycle – it’s how they act after the findings of their first survey and what they do with those findings.”
People often forget what you say but they never forget how you make them feel, and for us it’s all about helping companies to shine light into areas that need that extra attention, be it managerial or cultural, which they can then focus on to bring about significant and sustainable positive change. Huge congratulations to all three companies – great examples of how to get employee engagement right and then reap the benefits!”
